 How to make a 317 rsps!

Hello, This is your top Moderator. Today I will be teaching you how to make a 317 rsps!
PART 1, Dowloads.

To start making a 317 rsps you need a source and client. Please visit our download page. Click here to find one!

Now to download JDK 1.6.0_18
Click here to download JDK.

You will need rar so you will need to get it from here

And the last for downloads is No-ip to be able to play on your server!

PART 2, Source and client changing.

Changing ingame text. Open up the Source after you have extracted it, Look for client. Make sure to open the .java one and not the .class.
Now press Ctrl+F and search for "welcome".
And there should be a bunch of messages. You can change the messages that are there to what you want them to be.

Now you must compile, But if you compile and it says Error then you have to right click compile and edit it to make 1.6.0_** to 1.6.0_18 and save.

Now open up the client, Search for "gui" or "egui".
If you have Gui: Open Gui up and search for 127.0.0.1 and change them both to your ip.
If you have Egui: Open up Egui and right near the top there should be three ip's. Change all three to your ip address.

Now after that on the main page were you can run the client there should be the background picture for the client. You can edit it with paint and make it say what your rsps is called and not there's, And do NOT change what the pictures file name is orelse the client can't find it!

Now there should be a compiler, Edit it exactly like you did with the sources one. Then compile, Now you can play on your server!

PART 3, Changing more text and adding npc's and becoming owner!

Look for a characters file or search for savedgames and in there search for your username, You can delete every other username that is in there. If you haven't made an acc yet you will have to make one then log out and go back to this. Get your username and open it. Search for "right" and change the rights to 3.

If you wish to delete all npc's and add your own open search for autospawn in your source. This file should be in config and it is a CFG file. Open it and Delete all of them except for 1. Now compile and run. Launch your client and login. Now go to a position were you would like to spawn an npc. Spawn the npc by typing ::npc (id) . Now stay in the position of were you spawned the npc and now type ::coords hopefull that command works. If it did in the chat box it should say the postition. Now open autospawn and were it have the numbers like this "3125, 1351" Type in what the coords command gave you. Now there should be the id of the npc there aswell, You should see it and change it to your npc's id. Now save and compile. Rune the source again and launch your client. Now go over to were you spawned the npc. Hopefully it's there orelse something has gona wrong.

To change more text like the bank open text handler and search for "The bank" now it should find a heap if things. Change all the ones that say the name of the normal source to your rsps's name. Now save and compile. Now test it by playing the game and opening up the bank. This should have worked and if this doesn't work open up other files and search for "the bank". If no other files have it then you have made an error.

PART 4, How to make commands.

To start off open your source and search for client. Open the client.java and search for this "if (command.startsWith" withought inverted commas. Now it should come up with something like this.

But your command will be different. To make a new command you must copy and paste. To make a command that refils you special copy and past this under another command. And make sure to change the "derranged" to your username. But leave inverted commas.

Now save, compile and play. Test this out. Hopefully this works!

PART 5, This part contains alot of things that will help your server be more succesful!

How to change exp from attacking an npc.

Open client.java in your source and search for this "TotalExp = (double)" without inverted commas.
There should be something like this that comes up.

TotalExp = (double) (500 * hitDiff);
TotalExp = (double)(TotalExp * CombatExpRate);
addSkillXP((int)(TotalExp), SkillID);
} else {
TotalExp = (double)(250 * hitDiff);
TotalExp = (double)(TotalExp * CombatExpRate);
addSkillXP((int)(TotalExp), playerAttack);
addSkillXP((int)(TotalExp), playerDefence);
addSkillXP((int)(TotalExp), playerStrength);
}
TotalExp = (double)(225 * hitDiff);
TotalExp = (double)(TotalExp * CombatExpRate);
addSkillXP((int)(TotalExp), playerHitpoints);
actionTimer = 7;
}
return true;

Edit the Exp numbers to the ammount you want. Save, compile and play!

Here are all of the F2P shops in Runescape!
To add these go to shops.CFG and delete only the shops that are in there. Do NOT delete anything else! And then add these to were the other shops once were!

How to change how high your skills can go!

Open client.java and search for "return 99" withought inverted commas.
you should see something like this.

for (int lvl = 1; lvl <= 99; lvl++) {

output = (int) Math.floor(points / 4);

return lvl;

Now what I want you to change is this part "for (int lvl = 1; lvl <= 99; lvl++) {" . Change the 99 to whatever number you want your skills to go to. Do not set it to high. I think the maximum is 135.
